Universal Studios Florida® is the East Coast's premiere production facility that features state-of-the-art sound stages, more than 100 backlot locations and new digital and analog broadcast studios. Since opening in 1988, Universal has been the site of extensive production activity including feature films, television programs, commercials, music, corporate and industrial videos.
Universal Studios Florida® has nine sound stages ranging in size from 8,300 square feet to 22,000 square feet.
Located adjacent to the studio production center, Universal Studio Florida's expansive 444-acre backlot is one of the world's largest and best equipped full scale backlots, offering producers a wide variety shooting locations and environments.
Studios are now available at Universal Studios Florida®. Offering complete audio and video facilities for network operations, or any single or multi-day production.
The production facility is complemented by a full network of production support companies specializing in post production, film and video camera equipment, lighting and grip equipment, casting, greens, payroll, insurance, mobile production units, and more.
