 As Client Services Manager for the Universal Studios Florida Production Group, Katrinka VanDeventer oversees
the needs of clients, who produce film, television, music videos, print and commercial projects. Her ‘territory'
includes the company's Broadcast Studios, Sound Stages, more than 100 Back Lot locations and the details
of services for the producer's building 22A. With a degree in Film and Television from the Universal of Central Florida, Katrinka set out to pursue a career in her own community. During her eight years at the Metro Orlando Film Commission, her credits included "Superboy", "Problem Child 2", "Rosewood", and "From the Earth to the Moon".
"In today's market, informed producers want to know if we can flood our backlot (we can and did for the musical group CREED), how we control sound within the park (a simple push of a button) and how long it will take to get a production company up and running (about an hour!)", says Katrinka.
Katrinka has become a liaison to the state film community, serves on the board of Women In Film and considers her ongoing passion for
classic movies her indulgence.
