Chris Silveira brings 25-plus years of high profile production experience to the Universal Studios Florida Production Group. Most recently, Chris was the Executive in Charge of Production for Spike TV’s Bellator MMA, where he established the workflow for repurposing show content and managed network, sponsor and commercial integrations for the weekly 2-hour broadcast. Chris has supervised the production of over 2,500 episodes of reality, variety, game show, documentary, live sports, and concert television programming. With a comprehensive background in Production Management, Operations, Engineering and Scenic Design & Construction, Chris has held a variety of staff and freelance positions for Nickelodeon, SpikeTV, MTV Networks, MLB Network, Disney Channel and Universal Studios Florida.

A graduate of California State University at Northridge, Chris managed the analog-to-digital transition of Nickelodeon Studios Florida, partnering with Sony and National Mobile Television to produce the first HDTV program on the Nickelodeon network. Chris pioneered long-distance video streaming from Nickelodeon Studios Florida to the MTV network headquarters in New York, allowing for same day creative collaboration of show rehearsals, tapings and editing. To his credits, Chris produced and edited a Telly Award winning documentary about a non-profit children’s health clinic serving uninsured children in Orange County, Florida and has won numerous Florida Press Association awards for newspaper writing and photography.

Chris liaisons with television executives overseeing production for the Universal Studios Florida Production Group sound stages as well as all internal production services requests from various departments within Universal Orlando Resort.
