Pamela Tuscany is Vice President/General Manager of the Universal Studios Florida Production Group. She is responsible for the management of the Production Group's client base, all day to day production business and department operational budget including all contract negotiations and renewals. Tuscany is also responsible for spearheading acquisition of high profile productions for the Florida Studios and developing television projects and features for the facilities which include six state-of-the art soundstages and over 100 backlot locations, production support facilities and office rentals.
Tuscany is also instrumental in gaining heightened exposure for Universal Orlando and for the Universal Studios Florida Production Group which includes acquisition of film and television projects;"Sharknado 3"," Bring it On: In it to Win It", "Beethoven's Big Break", "Final Destination 4"," The Waterboy" with Adam Sandler, "House on Haunted Hill" with Geoffrey Rush, "Wheel of Fortune" and "Ellen" for syndication, "Emeril, Live" for the Food Network, "America's Got Talent" for the NBC Network, "IMPACT Wrestling" for Pop TV, 165 episodes of the new "Steve Harvey's Family Feud" for Fremantle Media and "LaVoz Kids" for TELEMUNDO. Tuscany also negotiated the long term broadcast tenant Powerball, a live production for the Multi State Lottery. 2017 includes management of THE DAVE School, overseeing renovations to several production facility buildings on Universal's backlot and management of the Universal Studios Florida Production Group staff.
Tuscany joined Universal in 1996 after nearly three years as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Century III, a full-service production and post production facility located on Universal's property. She was selected in 1998 for the "Top Central Florida Women Who Mean Business", selected in 2000 as one of "Central Florida's 100 Most Influential Business Leaders" and has been awarded several first place "Addy Awards" for commercial and program producing and writing. She was a finalist for the "2012 Women Who Mean Business Awards". In 2010 Pamela was featured in Florida Trend Magazine"Floridian of the Year; Florida Newsmakers".
Tuscany is currently serving on the Governor's Office of Film and Entertainment Advisory Council (FFEAC) and is the Executive Champion of the Universal Orlando Women's Network (UOWN). She is a past board member with the Orlando Advertising Federation (OAF) and of Women in Film and Television Florida and is currently a member of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, New York Chapter. She has also been an Industry Advisory Council Member of Employ Florida Banner Center for Creative Industries and is a frequent volunteer in both Orange and Brevard counties. Pamela is also on the Board of Directors for the Casper Glattfelder Association (Pennsylvania).
Tuscany attended Valencia and Brevard Community Colleges, the University of Central Florida and the University of Phoenix. She resides in Melbourne and Orlando, Florida.
