Pamela Tuscany is Vice President/General Manager of Universal Studios Florida Production Group (USFPG) and is responsible for the management of USF Production Group’s client base, all day-to-day production business and department operational budgets including all contract negotiations and renewals. Tuscany also spearheads acquisition of high profile productions for the Florida Studios and develops television projects and features for the facilities which include six state-of-the art soundstages and over 100 backlot locations, production support facilities and office rentals. Tuscany is also instrumental in gaining heightened exposure for Universal Orlando and USFPG. A partial list of production credits include: “Sharknado 3 “and “America’s Got Talent”, “TNA Impact!” for The Pop Network and 165 episodes of the new Steve Harvey’s “Family Feud”, “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon”, and “American Ninja Warriors” both for NBC, and “La Voz Kids” seasons 2, 3 & 4 for TELEMUNDO.
Current projects include management of The DAVE School; on the lot production and several production facility buildings including B-17; along with staff management for USFPG. Tuscany’s most recent assignment is providing general management services for Universal’s newest acquisition; The Promenade at Universal Orlando.
Tuscany joined Universal in 1996 after nearly three years as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Century III, a full-service production and post production facility located on Universal’s property. She was selected in 1998 for the “Top Central Florida Women Who Mean Business”, in 2000 as one of “Central Florida’s 100 Most Influential Business Leaders” and has been awarded several first place Addy Awards for commercial and program producing and writing. In 2010 Pamela was featured in Florida Trend Magazine’s ”Floridian of the Year; Florida Newsmakers” and she was a finalist for the “2012 Women Who Mean Business Awards”. In 2015, Pamela was inducted into the DAVE School Hall of Fame which honors newsworthy contributions made by a person or organization toward the success of the DAVE School educational programs and students. Pamela has also accepted the role of Executive Champion of the diversity and inclusion women’s resource group for Universal Orlando.
Tuscany serves on the Governor’s Office of Film and Entertainment Advisory Council (FFEAC). She is a past board member with the Orlando Advertising Federation (OAF) and of Women in Film and Television Florida and is currently a member of NATPE and the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, New York Chapter. She has also been an Industry Advisory Council Member of Employ Florida Banner Center for Creative Industries and is a frequent volunteer in both Orange and Brevard counties. Pamela currently participates on the Board of Directors for the Casper Glattfelder Association (Pennsylvania).
