Universal Studios Florida® has nine sound stages, eight of which are constructed with state-of-the-art sound control. These sound stages are equipped with an innovative trolley beam system for total flexibility to shoot film, tape or live-audience productions. The stages are also designed to accommodate any lighting power requirements and are equipped with silent air conditioning to allow for continuous shooting and a quick exhaust system for special effects. These design elements enable production to proceed quickly and safely while greatly reducing downtime.

The areas adjacent to the sound stages are covered by a canopy to protect against inclement weather.
